Today Kadokawa Games released a brand new trailer and a batch of screenshots of its upcoming Metal Max Xeno remake Metal Max Xeno Reborn.

The trailer provides an extensive look at the new visuals that change the look and feel of the game rather radically thanks to the implementation of modern techniques like physically-based rendering.

We also get to take a look at some new features and mechanics like long-range targeting and the introduction of the war dog Pochi.

The game will launch in Japan on March 26, 2020. At the moment, a western release has not been announced, so we’ll have to wait for a publisher to pick it up.

A sequel titled Metal Max Xeno Reborn 2 (of which you can check out the first artwork) is slated for a 2020 release on the same platforms, while a reboot of the series titled Code Zero is coming down the line still doesn’t have a release window of platforms.
