How to Beat Security Guard Boss in Luigi’s Mansion 3
Once you gain access to the security office by collecting the star-shaped key from the shops, a boss battle will commence against the security guard/mall cop.
This boss fight isn’t too difficult, but here’s what you need to do to defeat him.
Boss Battle Tips
First off, you’re going to need to use Gooigi for the entirety of the fight because Luigi won’t be able to get past the gate. So just summon Gooigi by pressing down on the right stick and slip past the bars.
Since the security guard is wearing sunglasses, you’re going to need to take those away from him so that you can stun him with the strobe light.
Suck up the glasses by using the vacuum with the ZR button and once he’s open, just blind him by holding down the A button. Then, you can continue to hold ZR to begin to suck him up and cause damage.
The only thing you need to be careful about is when he shoots his water gun in the air. Gooigi is susceptible to water so just make sure to avoid it while you’re using your vacuum –this shouldn’t be too difficult. During our fight with the boss, we didn’t get hit once.
Just rinse and repeat and he’ll be gone in no time flat.
