Today CyberConnect2 released another video starring President Hiroshi Matsuyama who sneaked in a really interesting tease.

The video starts with the usual “Ask Bandai Namco” question that has become pretty much a staple of this kind of videos.

Matsuyama-san is asked whether we’ll ever see Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm on Nintendo Switch, the answer being that it’s possible, but we have to send our requests to Bandai Namco.

Things gets much more interesting after that. The second question asked “If you were to make another game series like the Storm games, what anime would you choose?.”

That’s when Matsuyama-san dropped his team, mentioned that he can’t answer because they already have an idea and have actually already begun developing it.

While he did not provide further hints on the nature of the game, he mentioned that the project will be revealed when the timing is right.

You can watch the video below.

Incidentally, in an earlier video, he commented about the chance of seeing a Bleach game made by CyberConnect2, mentioning that they have no plans for that.

This likely means that the game teased today has nothing to do with Bleach. Of course, the wording also appears to indicate that it’s not another Naruto game.

If You want to hear more from Matsuyama-san, you can also listen to what he said about the possibility of remastering the original .hack//Infection, .hack//Mutation, .hack//Outbreak, and .hack//Quarantine for PS3, about creating a .hack MMORPG, and about continuing the .hack series.
