Outer Worlds is a new sci-fi game from the creators of the original Fallout franchise, Tim Kane and Leonard Boyarsky.

She showcased player companion abilities, such as the companion Felix’s dropkick, some new weapons such as the shrink ray, and discussed the different ways players can approach each mission.

The leadership skill will increase your ability to control companions in the game. This skill can be upgraded to make your character a more effective leader. This is just one example of different ways to spec your character.

Starks states “We provide different playstyles for each quest so it’s like do you want to talk your way through, do you want to do combat, or do you want to sneak you way through.”

The final playstyle Meghan talks about is what she calls the “mad scientist route” this focuses on the more wacky guns in the game like the shrink ray or the mandibular rearranger, which rearranges an enemies body.

Outer Worlds releases on Oct 25 on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
