As we’ve seen in FIFA’s that have come before it, FIFA 20 has an extensive arsenal of offensive plays and skills you can use to ensure your team wins the game. Finesse shots are for those moments when you need to place your shot into a corner of the net, rather than going solely for power. Here’s how to score finesse shots in FIFA 20 for those moments.
Scoring Finesse Shots in FIFA 20
As we mentioned above, they are a great tool to have at your disposal when you really need your player to aim for that top corner, rather than simply putting as much power on it and hoping it’s too hot for the keeper to handle.
That being said, you can do a finesse shot at any time by simply holding the right bumper or shoulder button on your console while pressing and holding the shoot button to power up your shot. We’ve included all platform inputs below:

|PS4||R1 + Circle|
|Xbox One||RB + B|
|Nintendo Switch||R + A|
Tips on Using it to Score
Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should always use Finesse Shots when you’re in front of goal. Sometimes, you’re best going for a low driven shot, or even just going for a standard shot with plenty of power behind it.
The best time to use finesse shots is when you’re on the outside of the box to either side of the goal, cutting in on your player’s preferred foot.
If you get the power just right, and can pull off timed finishing, too, these are nigh-on impossible for a keeper to stop, always seeking out the top corner in classy fashion.
