Today Pearl Abyss released a new trailer of the PS4 version of its popular MMORPG Black Desert.
The trailer is the full version of a brief teaser released a while ago, and featuring Hollywood star Megan Fox.
Funnily, when I first saw images of the default Sorceress from the PC version of the game (titled Black Desert Online) several years ago, I thought “hey, she kind of looks like Megan Fox.”
Looks like the game’s developers felt the same, as they decided to cast fox to play the sorceress in their trailer. If you look at the end, you’ll see what I mean.

The PS4 version was announced back at E3 and recently released after a period of Xbox exclusivity on consoles, while the PC version Black Desert Online has been around for a long time and it naturally comes with a ton more content.
That being said, the PS4 version will be updated regularly to gradually catch up, like the Xbox One version.
Visually, it’s certainly one of prettiest MMORPGs on the market, with an extremely expansive (and continuously expanding) open world and a character customization suite that can only be defined top-notch.
