Starting with the console game, we get to see a few new images of the photo mode, which allows you to set your shipgirls’ position, animation, facial expression, and camera angle.

It’s also possible to zoom in really close and to place the 3D models close together.

We also learn that the photo mode is unlocked by completing chapter 1 of the story mode.

Moving on to the mobile game, we get the reveal of a brand new shipgirl, the Dido Class HMS Black Prince.

We also get the confirmation that the summer festival-themed skins for Zuikaku and I-26 are coming to the English servers.

Azur Lane: Crosswave will launch on the Japanese shelves on August 29, 2019, for PS4. A western release has recently been announced for 2020.

The original Azur Lane game, is a free-to-play mobile horizontal scrolling shooter/RPG hybrid currently available for iOS and Android.
