In a game that places a heavy focus on combinations to do damage, having a control setup that is the most comfortable for you is really important. PlatinumGames’ new action title is no different, as players will need to utilize plenty of combos in Astral Chain to do well. Here is everything you need to know about how to change control scheme in Astral Chain.

The first thing you’ll need to know about the control scheme in Astral Chain is that they can’t be customized. That means that, unfortunately, you aren’t going to be able to map specific buttons to your exact liking.

Don’t worry too much though, as the game does provide a few different options.

How to Change Control Scheme in Astral Chain

If the starting control scheme doesn’t fit your liking, press the minus button on the Switch controller to bring up the menu. Once in the menu, cycle over to the System tab. Here, select options, then button configuration.

In the button configuration area, you’ll find that there are a few different presets you can choose from. In total, there are four options: A-D. Once you’ve picked the specific control scheme that fits you best, exit out of the menu.

With your control scheme selected, it’s only a matter of time before you defeat the Chimeras and make the Ark safe.
