The announcement was made via the franchise’s official Twitter account, as you can see below.

We learn that both Super Robot Wars V and Super Robot Wars X will release on Nintendo Switch and on PC via Steam. More information will be provided on the next issue of Weekly Famitsu which will release on July 25.

The Super Robot Wars franchise already debuted on Nintendo Switch with Super Robot Wars T, which launched earlier this year. Looks like Bandai Namco is looking into expanding its reach further by bringing over older games as well.

Super Robot Wars V and X are the two previous installments of the main series of the popular crossover simulation JRPG franchise. Both released for PS4 and PS Vita respectively in 2017 and 2018.

At the moment, it’s unsure whether the PC and Switch releases will also come in English, but both games were localized for South East Asia, so the possibility certainly exists. Of course, we’ll let you know as soon as Bandai Namco makes an announcement on the issue.
