We hear that Duncan shared his excitement about the upcoming platforms as a player, as a game developer, and as Rare’s studio head, he also added that he believes that the opportunities are going to be limitless and he feels like developers can achieve things that they never did before.

“When you’re a part of the leadership team and you get to see things ahead of them being announced publicly some times, you’re always sort of piecing together where the opportunities are for a studio like Rare that makes games.

Just seeing it playing out at that E3 briefing, seeing us talk about impacting PC gaming and the Scarlett program and what we’re doing with xCloud, it just made me excited as both a player, as a game maker, and a studio head, because I think the opportunity for gaming is going to be limitless.

It seems like we can go and do things that we’ve never been able to do before.”

Duncan concluded by mentioning that as a game studio that creates games, ultimately it has to be all about the players.
