Many believed the series concluded, but quite obviously that isn’t the case. The new game is coming to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. A release date has not been announced yet.

That being said, we do get the first trailer and screenshots, which you can enjoy below.

Below you can read an official summary directly from the press release. Looks like the game retained the series’ “Musou” flavor.

“ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 4 features the latest stories, characters and environments from the ONE PIECE anime, including Whole Cake Island. ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 4 also features “Musou” action, where players can use powerful “Musou” attacks to take on huge amounts of enemies and clear the field of battle in one fell swoop with their favorite characters.”

We also get a comment from Bandai Namco Entertainment America Brand Manager Randy Le:

“ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 4 is a great way for both new and long-time ONE PIECE fans to jump into the ONE PIECE world.

Players can dive headfirst into ONE PIECE with their favorite characters and experience the anime through intense battles in the newest addition to the Pirate Warriors series!”
