How to Start the Physical DPS Role Quest in Final Fantasy XIV
Before you begin the physical role quest in FFXIV, it’s important that you first advance through the main story quests in the game before you do anything. Once you’ve completed the main story quest mission, “Warrior of Darkness” and reach level 70, only then will you be able to start any and all of the role quests.
Once you get to level 70 and have that MSQ finished up, you will want to get going on a quest titled, “No Greater Sport.” You can find this quest over at The Crystarium (X:10.8 Y:15.9) by speaking to Lue-Reeq.
Upon starting the role quest, it will sort of replace your job quests for the time being, until you reach level 80. If you want to see the “end” of the Shadowbringers questline, you have to complete all of the role quests for at least one type of role.
