Getting Tingle’s Dowser

It wouldn’t be a Zelda game without some version of the Lost Woods, and Cadence of Hyrule certainly doesn’t disappoint. From the Lost Woods screen itself, head south, and you’ll find a tree stump with a little doorway. Go through it to find Tingle asleep in the corner, and a short music puzzle.

Head to the top left of the room to trigger the statue explosive, and a boulder will roll down the musical path, playing a short tune. All you have to do is move along to the beat of the tune. Do it successfully, and Tingle will wake up, rewarding you with Tingle’s Dowser.

The Dowser can be equipped from your menu like a regular item.

Navigating the Lost Woods

Now that you have the Dowser, head back to the Lost Woods and clear out the enemies. Then, use the Dowser near the screen exits to determine the right path to go. If you’re at the right path, your Joy-Cons or controller will have a strong vibration, as opposed to a very weak and faint one if you’re at the wrong exit.

Go through the screen transitions with a strong vibration, and you should enter another screen with a new batch of enemies. As long as you keep encountering new enemy types as you go through the screens in the Lost Woods, you’ll know you’re on the right track.

Keep following the path, and you’ll eventually reach the Lost Swamp with a Sheikah Stone for you to tag so you don’t have to redo the puzzle again.

That’s all you need to know about how to solve the Lost Woods puzzle in Cadence of Hyrule. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
