The trailer gives us cinematic footage of everyone racing and drifting across multiple beautiful racetracks inspired by other Sonic the Hedgehog titles.

Even showing off new footage of Vector giving the order to Silver and Blaze to drop the Cube Wisps on Dr. Eggman — the trailer sums up that you can race against up to 12 players online.

You can also play with others in the same room as you using split-screen, and you can customize your car with crazy designs and gold plates à la Pimp My Ride.

To get a headstart on the game, you can pre-order Team Sonic Racing at your favorite retailers for $39.99. If you’re still debating about whether to get the game, let our review convince you.

Team Sonic Racing launches on May 21 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
