Today Experience Inc released the first batch of official direct-feed screenshots and artwork of its upcoming PS Vita dungeon-crawling JRPG, Chevalier of Blue Wings.
As we learned in last week’s issue of Famitsu, the game is a remake of Experience’s Entaku no Seito or “Students of the Round” with the addition of Stranger of Sword City, which is set a few hundreds of years later in the same world.
And yes, as you read above, the game is to be released in Japan on July 25 exclusively for PS Vita in both digital and physical forms.
Among the new elements introduced with the remake, characters will have entirely new visuals and different costumes depending on their role. Below you can see the hero Xth Landlight (in male and female forms), Eltha Urlandir, Lumi Kreiz Gromburg, Saul Hifield, Rorone, Burgo Fimbulturl, and Merlin.
Characters can be customized with main and sub-classes, and their ability values.
One of the most important elements of the game is to deepen the bonds between the hero and his or her disciples through events like meetings, meals, and fights. By increasing the bond rank, you can unlock powerful co-op skills.
You can check out all the images below, including the official cover art.
Chevalier of Blue Wings doesn’t have a western release date yet. While Stranger of Sword City was localized in English, Entaku no Seito has never been released in the west.
