Today Square Enix confirmed that it’ll be holding another press conference this year at E3 2019.

They shared this news via a tweet detailing that the conference would take place on Monday June 10 at 6pm PT. At the moment it’s unclear whether it will be a live show or, like their effort last year, another per-recorded stream.

The publisher promises an “exciting lineup of titles”, though none have actually been confirmed yet. We can make some guesses as to what there could be, though. There’s the long-awaited Avengers game from Crystal Dynamics, as well as details on the anticipated Kingdom Hearts III Final Mix DLC.

It’s also possible we’ll get a look at the upcoming remake of Final Fantasy VII. There’s set to be a Final Fantasy VII concert happening in LA only a few days before E3 takes place, which could signal the beginning of the remake getting a renewed spotlight.

You may not want to get your hopes up, if you remember last year and Square Enix’s disappointing showing for E3 2018. It turned out to be not much more than a recap, peppered by some very quiet announcements. There’s a lot more on the cards this year however, so we’ll continue to hold our breath.

This year’s E3 will run from June 11-13. Square Enix joins the likes of Microsoft, Bethesda, and Ubisoft as some of the companies confirmed to hold press conferences this year, while EA and Sony have declined to attend.
