The developer also disclosed officially the Japanese release date of the game, which will hit the local shelves on June 6 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. The price will be 5,980 yen (just south of $54) plus tax.

Of course, a western release has not been announced for the moment, so we’ll have to wait and see on that.

If you’re unfamiliar with Yo-Kai Watch 4, it’s the new mainline JRPG of the popular Yo-Kai Watch series and features time travel elements and multiple protagonists. Alongside the traditional protagonist Keita we’ll be able to play his daughter and  Yo-kai Watch Shadowside protagonist Natsume from the future, and Shin Shimomachi (who appeared in Yo-Kai Watch: Forever Friends) from the past timeline.

You can enjoy the trailer below, showcasing a look at the title’s gameplay. If you want to see more, you can also check out a ton more footage from a recent demo, even more gameplay from January, and a trailer from a few months ago.

While the game was initially planned for release in 2018, it has been delayed first to spring 2019, and at long last Japanese gamers now know when they’ll be able to play it.
