How to Assign Staff to Base of Operations in The Division 2

The Division 2 puts you into the shoes of a brand new Agent, struggling for survival in the apocalyptic ruins of D.C. Once the shining beacon of America, you’ll have to band together with other survivors and make a base of operations, which will serve as your central hub. Here’s how to assign staff to base of operations in The Division 2.

The base of operations is a feature you’ll be familiar with if you played the first Division, and it works similarly. Basically, this is where you’ll go to unlock new skills, buy perks, and more. Of course, one of the major points of the base will be to assign your various staff members to different areas.

You’ll have access to the base of operations almost immediately once you start The Division 2, after you play through the opening section and get to the White House.

In the White House, you’ll want to head to the Quartermaster then select the Staff Roster menu. Here you’ll be able to hire various NPCs you’ve encountered out in the city, and each one will bring bonuses or perks to you and your base of operations.

By completing a Settlement’s mission you can unlock more staff, so you’ll likely want to head back to the White House consistently to check on new skills and equipment, as well as new staff members.

For example, by completing the first Priority Mission at the Theater you’ll get Inaya Al-Khaliq added to your roster, who’ll unlock the ability to craft. The more you explore and do things around Washington D.C., the more staff you’ll have added to your roster.

That should clear up everything you need to know about how to assign staff to base of operations in The Division 2. For even more tips, guides, and info on the game make sure to search Twinfinite, and take a look at our extensive Division 2 guide wiki.
