Today Black Desert developer Pearl Abyss announced that the Xbox One version of the game will receive an update next week introducing four new classes.

The update will be made available for all players on April 3.

When I say “new” classes, of course, I mean that they’re new to the Xbox One version of the game, as PC players that are enjoying Black Desert Online have had these classes introduced gradually over the past couple of years.

They’re the Striker, the Dark Knight, the Lahn, and the Musa.

The Musa is your classic Korean-style warrior, while the Lahn is closer to the Chinese wuxia style. The Striker is a monk-type martial arts fighter, and the Dark Knight is basically an alluring female dark elf wielding a giant greatsword.

This will bring the lineup of classes in the game a bit closer to the PC version, even if there is still a long way to go.

You can watch ta trailer below. If you want to see more, you can enjoy another trailer showing off the game’s top-notch character customization.

The Xbox One version of Black Desert launched at the beginning of March. If you don’t have an Xbox One, the game is also available (in a much more advanced state, to be fair) for PC both stand-alone and via Steam.
