Devolver Digital has unveiled an awesome new vinyl figure for the breakout indie game GRIS. The figure retails for $45 and comes with a Steam download code for the game as well.
The vinyl figure stands 5″ tall and features the game’s protagonist sitting on the hand of a giant statue from the game. This item is and will remain exclusive to the Devolver Digital merch store so be sure to check it out if you’re interested in snagging one. It is a really cool piece and definitely one that fans of GRIS would be proud to display in their game room.
If you’ve been waiting to pick up GRIS for yourself then this is a pretty good package deal. Considering that the figure comes with a download code of the game, which is currently $16.99 on the Steam marketplace. That means you are technically only paying about $28 for the figure.
For those unfamiliar with the title, GRIS is an indie side-scrolling puzzle platformer. It was developed by Nomanda Studio and published by Devolver Digital, who has released indie hits like Hotline Miami, The Messenger, and Enter the Gungeon.
The game’s description reads: “Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality.”
GRIS released in December of 2018 to positive critical reception. Twinfinite reviews editor, Zhiqing Wan, gave the game a 4/5 saying that it is “one of the most artistic and provocative experiences I’ve seen in video games.” You can check out her full review of GRIS here.
