Best Storm Builds (Weapons & Loadouts) in Anthem

Recommended Videos

Anthem is out and players have already begun to pick their favorite javelins. The Storm class is designed around hovering above the battlefield and raining down spells from above. Here are our picks for the best Storm builds in Anthem to ensure you are using this class to the best of its abilities.

As we play more, and see the meta develop, we’ll be sure to evolve this article and add more ideas, but let us know in the comments below if you have your own preferences. Let’s dive in.

Best Storm Builds – Blast Seals Recommendation

For your Blast Seals, you’ll want to go with Living Flame or Ice Storm. Both offer a solid area of effect damage for large groups of enemies.

As far as primers go these work in tandem with Storm’s combo ability to spread any elemental status effect to nearby enemies after triggering a combo. This sets up a great crowd control for when enemy numbers become intimidating.

Best Storm Builds – Focus Seals Recommendations

There are a few abilities you will want to be on the lookout for while playing Storm in Anthem. For your Focus Seals, you’ll want either Glacier Spear or Burning Orb.

Both are detonators which will set up you or your teammates for a combo. Both of these abilities have a high damage output and are viable.

Glacier Spear is better for when you need a precise hit, so it’s great for boss fights, while Burning Orb lets you shoot multiple orbs of fire, great for dealing with adds. Whichever one you choose will depend on the mission or stronghold you’re going up against.

Best Weapons for a Storm Javelin

Weapons are a big part of Anthem and you’ll want to stock up on weapons that not only suit your own playstyle but ones that also work together with the Storm’s long range.

Anything with mid to long range works extremely well while hovering above the fight. The Wyvern sniper rifle is an excellent choice for the Storm. The Masterwork version of this weapon gives an increase in damage while hovering so it fits the Storm perfectly.

One final piece of gear you’ll want to make sure you have equipped comes from your components slot. The Elemental Enhancement component will give bonus damage to any status effects you cast on enemies. Since all of the abilities mentioned above apply elemental status effects this will give you the most bang for your buck.

That’s everything you need to know for the best storm builds in Anthem. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our Anthem Wiki.
