Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released a brand new trailer of its upcoming JRPG God Eater 3, and this time around it’s full of anime goodness.
To be precise, we get to see the opening cutscene animated by studio Ufotable, which many fans of the series will be very familiar with.
We get to take a look at the main characters of the game, including the default male version of the protagonist (who is actually fully customizable, as usual for God Eater), and the companions that will fight side by side with us in this post-apocalyptic version of God Eater (which is already post-apocalyptic on its own. It’s basically a post-apocalipception).
Alongside the cutscene, we also get a taste of the opening song “Stereo Future” performed by Japanese alternative rock band BiSH.
You can check it out below.
While God Eater 3 is already available in Japan, it will come to the west for PS4 and PC on Feb. 8, 2019, and will get a free demo this month.
We recently learned that it enjoyed a solid debut on its home turf despite the lack of a portable version. If you want to see more, you can also check out a recent trailer showing the story and characters.
