We already know that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will receive DLC releases in order to extend the fun, and Producer Manabu Shimomoto provided an interesting detail in a New Year special on the Japanese website 4Gamer.
We learn that development on the DLC has already started, and to help players enjoy them more, the goal is to provide a different experience and story compared to the main game.
It’ll certainly be interesting to see what Shimimoto-san means with a different story, but we’ll have to wait for more information on this front.
In the meanwhile, if you want to see more of the game you can also enjoy the trailer showcasing the F-35C Lightning II, the one released for the Gripen E, the video showing off the Mig-29A Fulcrum, another with the F-14D Super Tomcat, and one focusing on the A-10C Thunderbolt II.
Older videos showcase the Mig-31 Foxhound, the F/A-18F Super Hornet, the Eurofighter Typhoon, and the F-15C Eagle. On top of that, we also have a ton of gameplay livestreamed a few weeks ago.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will release in Japan for PS4 and Xbox One on Jan. 17, 2019. It’ll come to North America and Europe on Jan. 18, with a PC version following on Feb. 1.
