New Smash Bros. Ultimate Commercial Features Stunning Never Before Seen Animation

The ultimate crossover fighting game, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, is less than a month away, and Nintendo has hit the ground running in terms of advertising leading up to the game’s release.

The new “More Fighters, More Battles, More Fun” commercial has dropped, and it’s a doozy.

If you’ve been following the game, you’re most likely familiar with the panoramic key art that has been slowly filling up as more characters have been announced. Well, now we have finally been treated to a glimpse at that art in motion.

The commercial begins with an extreme-long shot of the famous key art before zooming in to a glint of light in Mario’s eye. Following this, the character’s begin to move and, in true Super Smash Bros. fashion, start fighting each other.

Most of our favorites make an appearance: Mario, Link, Kirby, Sonic, Mega Man, Charizard, Captain Falcon, Pikmin (following Isabelle rather than Olimar, for some reason), and loads more.

This is the first piece of animation produced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that isn’t a character reveal trailer or a trailer for the new World of Light Adventure mode.

In previous Smash games, an option was included to view past promotional videos, so there’s always a chance that this new commercial will be viewable somewhere in the game itself.
