Pokemon Let’s Go Trailer Recreates the Iconic Opening of the Anime and It’s Stunning

Happy Pokemon Let’s Go day everybody! Going back to Kanto once again with updated visuals, new catching mechanics, and your partner Pokemon by your side is what we’ve all been waiting for.

The nostalgia has been hitting us hard as we’ve been collecting badges and going through all of the motions once again. We’re not the only ones feeling nostalgic, as the Official Pokemon YouTube Channel has uploaded a new Pokemon Let’s Go trailer that attempts to recreate the iconic opening from the first season of the Pokemon anime, and let me tell you, it is pretty amazing how spot on it is. Whoever edited this did a stand-up job with the assets that they were given; you can check out the video down below:

Just wonderful isn’t it? Well, if you’re a Pokemon fanatic like I am, then you’re probably thinking about just how faithful this adaptation is compared to the Indigo League opening. I did you all a favor and placed the original opening down below. Try watching both at the same time and gaze in wonder at the similarities:
