Devil May Cry 5 Ultra Limited Edition Announced, Includes Dante’s Jacket

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Today, Capcom Japan revealed an “Ultra Limited Edition” of Devil May Cry 5, and if you have ever wanted to look like a rad devil killer, now is your chance. The limited edition comes in three styles, depending on which protagonist you want to dress up as – V, Nero, or Dante.

Each one comes with a character’s jacket, with V’s sleeveless jacket coming in at 600,000 yen (around $5,320), while Nero’s jacket (complete with sleeve tear) is going for 750,000 yen (around $6,650). However, I have a feeling the most sought after jacket will be Dante’s, which is going to cost a cool 900,000 yen (around $7,980).

If those prices are too much to stomach, you can also just snag a button up shirt with the Devil May Cry logo for 7,222 yen (around $64) or include the game with it for 11,852 yen (around $105). The Devil May Cry 5 website has plenty of pictures showing them off, and even includes a handy measurement chart, in case you are worried about the fit.

This isn’t the first time Capcom has produced apparel based on their characters, as both Dead Rising 2 and Resident Evil 4 both had jackets sold that were based on the protagonist’s fashion.

There is no word on whether these Devil May Cry 5 editions will make it stateside, but maybe don’t hold your breath on that.

Devil May Cry 5 is due to release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March. 8, 2019.
