The annual event begins on Jan. 6, 2019 with a speedrun of metroidvania Hollow Knight, and ends a week later on Jan. 13 with a Darker Side run of Super Mario Odyssey and a reverse boss order run of SNES classic Super Metroid. Other games slated to appear include Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker, Guacamelee! 2, Halo: Reach, Dead Cells, The Messenger, and more.

The TASBot tool-assisted robot will also return with a speedrun of “mari0,” which is the original Super Mario Brothers with the ability to use the portal gun from Valve’s Portal series. There is also a “1v1 Lockout Bingo” of Super Mario Sunshine which is “a variant of regular bingo, where instead of completing a row, the objective is to score 13 goals before your opponents” and completing a goal locks out the other person from completing it, according to its description.

Awesome Games Done Quick 2019 takes place in Rockville, MD from Jan. 6 to Jan. 13. The event will be raising money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, which raised almost $2.3 million for the charity at last year’s event. The full schedule of games can be found on the official Games Done Quick website, and the marathon can be watched from the group’s Twitch channel.
