Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is releasing on Dec. 7. And so is a limited edition. And a Smash GameCube controller. And a Smash Pro Controller. Was there anything else Super Smash Bros. Ultimate branded that you were after? How about a Super Smash Bros. Nintendo Switch bundle that comes with a special Smash Bros. dock and joycon pair? If that’s what you’re after, then you’re in luck, as Nintendo announced today that a Switch bundle is coming.
During the latest Nintendo Direct, the company announced that a special Super Smash Bros. Ultimate edition Switch bundle will be releasing on Nov. 2. Similarly to the previously announced Switch bundle for Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, the Super Smash Bros. Switch bundle will feature a dock and a set of joycons themed around the game. Different Nintendo characters will be featured on the dock, while the joycons will feature a Smash logo design. The bundle also comes with a Switch system (of course) and a full game download for Smash Bros. Ultimate, although that won’t be available until the game launches on Dec. 7.
Nov 2. will also be the day that the Smash GameCube controller and GameCube controller adapter will be available to purchase. On that day, you’ll be able to get completely prepared for Ultimate’s launch the following month.
The Switch bundle can be pre-ordered later today.
