Is There Online Co-Op Multiplayer in Shadow of the Tomb Raider?
Shadow of the Tomb Raider sees Lara Croft on her last adventure in the reboot series, chasing after Trinity and saving the world from a Mayan apocalypse. The game is packed with plenty of new crypts to find and tombs to explore, along with some new weapons and abilities for Lara to use. While Shadow of the Tomb Raider has tons of single-player content, some fans might be wondering if the game comes with an online co-op multiplayer mode.
As with all previous games in the series, Shadow of the Tomb Raider does not have an online co-op multiplayer mode at the moment. The main campaign is strictly single-player, and no other player can join Lara on her dangerous journey. But for all she’s been through, Lara’s more than capable of dealing with things by herself.
Interestingly enough, it is worth noting that the Shadow of the Tomb Raider season pass mentions that the game will be getting some sort of “co-op functionality” in the near future. The developers have yet to reveal if this is an online co-op multiplayer mode or some sort of addition to the story, but it’s probably safe to assume that it will have something to do with the seven new narrative missions.
Alongside this mysterious co-op multiplayer mode are seven additional outfits, weapons, and skills for Lara to use. Whatever the case, we’ll be updating this post with more details if the season pass does end up offering an online co-op multiplayer mode.
Until then, players can enjoy all the single-player content that Shadow of the Tomb Raider has to offer. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our expansive wiki. We’ve got plenty of guides that will help you and Lara on her dangerous journey.
