Steep Isn’t Coming to the Switch Anymore

About a year ago, back when the Nintendo Switch was just getting its legs under it, Ubisoft’s Steep was one of the games announced for the new system. The game focused around extreme ice sports, and while it did have its issues, it was also a pretty fun ride for what it offered.

Since that initial announcement, however, we haven’t heard all that much about it, and the game even received a new expansion on other consoles and PC. Just yesterday, when asked about the Switch version of the game, the Ubisoft Twitter account responded by saying that their team was dedicated to building up the current game, and had stopped development on the Switch port because of this.

So, that’s that, I suppose. Steep will no longer be releasing on Nintendo’s hybrid console. It’s now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
