Life is Strange 2 has gotten a cryptic new teaser trailer, and while it’s short it definitely reveals a little bit about the upcoming season.
The trailer is seen from the point of view of a police camera, first driving around a queit little city before stopping in front of an incident. As the police car stops the officer notes there’s a 10-10 in progress (meaning a fight in progress) and he’ll need backup. The officer steps of camera and seconds later he and his car are hurled through the air with some kind of super-powered force.
While we don’t know if they’ll be important in any way yet, the name of the officer, Matthews, and the date, Oct. 28 2016, could very well end up being important. We also don’t know if this is the same town that Chris and his father live in, from Captain Spirit, although it is similar. Presumably, the telekinetic blast at the end of the trailer will somehow be related to what we see at the end of Captain Spirit. We can expect to learn more on Aug. 20, when a full reveal will be coming.
Life is Strange 2 is set to premiere on September 27 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The season will, once again, span five episodes. Do you have any theories on Life is Strange 2 based on the teaser trailer? Take a look at our own theories, and let us know what yours are in the comments below.
