Nintendo has just released an update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that adds Champion’s Tunic Link and his trusty Master Cycle Zero, both from Breath of the Wild.  This free update takes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to version 1.6.0.
Champion’s Tunic Link is a new outfit for Link that sees him donning his blue tunic from The Breath of the Wild. In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Link outfit is upgraded with this snazzy blue number once he has a recovered a memory and realizes he is in fact over 100 years old. With the update installed, players can now choose from classic green tunic Link or the new BOTW Link, with his blue shirt, casual ponytail, and lighter boots.
As for his new ride, the Master Cycle Zero, it’s much easier to acquire in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe than in Breath of the Wild. People need only to connect their Switch to the internet and download the newest update to get the horse on wheels. Once you download the update, the Master Cycle Zero, Ancient Tires, and Link/King Rhoam’s Paraglider will all be freely available as kart parts, and players can mix & match as they choose.
Any character can use the bike or the parts, even Yoshi, who is arguably a horse.
