Octopath Traveler, the latest JRPG developed by Square Enix and Acquire, has just been released for the Nintendo Switch. While there isn’t any overarching story that presents itself through the main story chapters, the Japanese guide book reveals that there is indeed a post-game dungeon that can be unlocked once you’ve completed the story, along with some side quests.
UPDATE: If you need help unlocking it, we got that covered, here you go, just follow our guide for how to unlock the post-game dungeon in Octopath Traveler here.
Do be warned that we’re about to spoil some of the main story content, so look away if you want to go in completely fresh.
Over at the game’s community-run Discord channel, this photo of the guide book popped up, revealing a post-game dungeon that might very well be the Gate of Finis, which is a concept that’s recurrent throughout the eight stories. While full details aren’t out just yet, it looks like players will have to complete side quests related to NPCs they encounter all over the world before they can unlock the dungeon.
Octopath Traveler is now available on the Nintendo Switch.
