The trailer description reads:

“Seven years after defeating Carlos Calaca, Juan Aguacate is forced to don his luchador mask again to face a new threat – this time to the very fabric of space and time. Punch your way through a whole new Metroidvania style world and try to save the Mexiverse!”

Check it out below:

The brief gameplay demo showcases some new moves for our favorite luchador, as well as chicken form abilities. The new game also features four-player drop-in/drop-out co-op, which is an expanded version of a beloved feature of the previous game —so much so that we included it in our list of the 55 best PS4 couch co-op games.

Guacamelee! 2 is priced at $19.99. Although the previous game was recently launched on Microsoft and Nintendo’s consoles, there’s no word yet on whether the sequel will come to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
