The first game released in February 2015 on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 launched in November 2016 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and then later came to Nintendo Switch. Xenoverse, of course, isn’t the only thing that’s contributed to Dragon Ball’s resurgence in recent years. Dragon Ball Super also started airing in July 2015, and has since had a wealth of episodes. There’s also a new movie on the way, bringing back the legendary Saiyan Broly.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly premieres in Japan this December, although there’s no word yet on a theatrical release in the west. Meanwhile, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 still has additional content being added in two years later, in the form of new characters, costumes, and more. In other Dragon Ball-related news, make sure to take a look at the addition of Base Goku and Base Vegeta in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
