Anthem’s Lead Producer Shows Off 20 Minutes of Gameplay

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Just in case you missed out the Anthem presentation during E3 2018, or you missed out on the show in general, EA has made the full gameplay demo available for you to watch online via YouTube. It’s the full 20-minute gameplay demo straight from E3, complete with commentary from the game’s Lead Producer Ben Irving to add context to some scenes you might have further questions about.

You can watch as Irving guides you through various different situations, mostly related to co-op play. The video shows off how the cooperative missions unfurl, as well as how the jetpacks work, which makes for a very entertaining (and very quick to pass by) 20 minutes. The video doesn’t quite explain how co-op missions and the narrative will work together in tandem, but if you can’t wait to tackle things with friends, this is a great place to start researching and planning who you want on your squad.

Anthem is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on Feb. 22, 2019. You’ve got plenty of time left to fully investigate what the game has to offer as BioWare reveals further details over the next few months, but for now just feast your eyes on this full-length gameplay trailer. There’s a lot to unpack, still, and we can’t wait to see more of it. Hopefully tons of new information starts eking out sooner rather than later.
