Bethesda held their E3 press conference tonight in Los Angeles, and they had quite a few surprises to share along the way. Multiple series are getting new entries, including Doom and Wolfenstein. Bethesda announced not only Wolfenstein: New Blood but Wolfenstein Cyberpilot, a new VR experience that puts you in the shoes of a resistance hacker in 1980 Paris taking control of Nazi mechs and war machines. Meanwhile, New Blood takes place after the events of Wolfenstein II, and puts you in the role of BJ Blazkowicz’s twin daughters, who continue the fight against the Nazi war machine.
Outside of the announcement, Bethesda didn’t give many details, but they did say the title would be playable this week on the show floor, so you can expect more details to drop soon.
While New Blood will be releasing sometime in 2019, Bethesda has not announced which VR platforms Cyberpilot will be arriving on, or when we can expect it to release, but we’ll make sure to update you once more details are given.
