Shadow of the Colossus PS4’s Final Secret Has Been Uncovered

If you’ve been playing through the Shadow of the Colossus remake on PS4, you might have noticed that there are a few golden coins you can pick up all over the world. Fans had speculated that perhaps collecting all of the coins would unlock a secret boss, but it’s nothing so exciting as that.

PS4Trophies has figured it out, and once you collect all 79 collectibles, you’ll unlock a new weapon called the Sword of Dormin. You can check out the footage yourself at the 2 hour 21 minute mark.

You can pick up the sword at the Shrine of Worship, and once equipped, it reduces your health regeneration but increases your damage output. If you’re familiar with the game’s bosses, this could be a good tool to help with clearing a run faster.

It’s possible that this could just be the first step to uncovering an even bigger secret in the game, and we’ll keep you updated as more info comes our way. Shadow of the Colossus is now available on PS4.
