Shadows of Valentia is a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden, and Nintendo has previously stated that the game will feature a mix of both old and new school Fire Emblem gameplay. Just as we’d come to expect from Fire Emblem games these days, Shadows of Valentia will let players move around a world map and get into enemy encounters. Characters can also learn skills as they level up, and eventually get promoted to more advanced jobs and classes. Classes include many that we’re already familiar with, including the Pegasus and Bow Knight.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is set to be released for the 3DS on May 19 in North America and Europe. What are your thoughts on the game so far? Let us know in the comments down below.
