The Best New Sims 4 Mods of February 2017
February brought on a ton of really awesome Sims 4 mods! Here are the best of the best. Thanks, modding community, for continuing to make The Sims 4 awesome.
Funeral Event Mod

Now your sims can throw their beloved, late sim house members a funeral when they’ve come to pass. Download this mod to be able to throw funeral wakes for your sims. It’s a full event, so you can invite people, designate hosts and ministers and mixologists, and also gives a trophy based on how many of the requirements you completed.
Serial Killer

It’s almost like the first two mods on this list worked in cahoots, huh? This mod lets your sims become serial killers. It’s gory and allows for stab-tastic interactions (under the mean category), as well as partners in crime interactions. It might be a bit easy to go on a murdering spree, but it’s the perfect mod for a black widow playthrough!
New Traits

There are two new traits introduced through modding this month: Social Anxiety and Anxious. The social anxiety one will cause your sims to have a harder time building relationships and getting tense with too much public speaking. Meanwhile, the general anxiety one will have your sim building their social needs slower and their creativity faster. There’s a lot more to them that match their real life counterparts.
Aging For Vampires

The Sims 4 Vampires released, and modders are getting on board the modding train for them. With this mod, your vampires will be able to age normally as a regular sim would. It’s pretty awesome, given that immortality can get boring.
A Silly Glitch Fixed

Notice how your sim family won’t sit the hell down while they’re playing on the game console, right in front of the TV and couch? Yeah, others have been annoyed by that too. That’s why there’s now this mod which will fix this.
Romantic Massage

With this flirty mod, your sims will be able to ask for and give a romantic massage on the Spa Day massage table. Questionable why it wasn’t already included, huh?
New Aspiration For a Well-Balanced Life

This aspirationmod is pretty neat, as it encourages a well-balanced life for your sim. This will include tasks such as doing yoga, going jogging, burning incense, and generally doing wellness activities. It’s nice that there’s a nod towards this skill that’s largely ignored as part of anything important in the game.
Club Membership Revamping

This mod will let you choose gender requirements for a club, as well as increase the size of clubs. They were a bit too small before anyway, right? So download this and you can really get a big, thriving community for your sims.
Auto Paying Bills

Ever forget to pay your bills? Yes. You do. Everyone that plays the sims does. It’s pretty annoying your sims can’t just remember to pay their bills on time, yet turn on the TV every five seconds by themselves. With this mod, paying the bills can autonomously be done on any PC.
Get Drunk

Finally, a mod to make your sims a little rowdy. With this, your sim will get the dazed emotion whenever they have a drink at a bar or at home.
Social When Playing Together

Oddly enough, some activities don’t increase the social need for a sim. In comes this mod, which makes it possible for the social mood to be filled while playing games together such as basketball, foosball, and more.
Automatize Chores

Here’s a mod that will allow your sims to autonomously collect trash, mop up puddles, repair stuff, and salvage trash. Pretty useful given that all of those will provide some negative moodlets if you leave them be.
Buy a Cure

Maybe you consider it annoying that your sims need to mix the vampire cure after finding out its ingredients? Well you can easily buy one with this mod! It only costs 500 simoleons and your undead will be back with the living.
Uncontrollable Hissing Won’t Be Frowned Upon

If you have a vampire that hisses uncontrollably, you might be a bit sad to see their relationships suffer at the hand of this debilitating trait. Well, with this, you’ll no longer face the friendship decay that happens with the hisses.
Free Vamp Perks

You normally need to level up your vampire to be able to afford perks, but with this mod, you’ll be able to supe up your vamp all you want! Get all perks for free with it.
Stop Putting Food in Your Inventory, Gross

After cooking, sims will often put food in their inventory. It’s a pretty annoying habit, and I’m not entirely sure if it’s some new glitch. Either which way, though, the food spoils and it’s gross to deal with. Luckily, this mod will have them no longer autonomously put food in their inventory.
Best Quality Blood

You might find it annoying to keep your vampire nice and clean. The temptation to fill up by biting into a regular sim is really too much sometimes. It’s just such a hassle to sit their and sip on like three Caprisun pouches of blood. But with this mod, your sims will get their fill from O type blood bags.
Military Career

Here’s a nice mod that will add a military career for your sims to take part in. About time, right?
No Painful Sun

Vampires are cool and all, but it’s pretty troublesome that they will combust under too much sunlight. No more! This mod removes that and your sims will be able to live (slightly) normal lives as the living dead.
Child Vampires

When you have a sim baby that’s a vampire, you unfortunately won’t really notice if they got the traits until they’re a teen. With this mod, the obvious signs will start popping up when they’re a child. Talk about terrible tens!
Autonomous Biting

While it’s nice of EA to put the game on easy mode and turn off random NPC sim vampires’ ability to bite sims… it’s pretty BS. If you’ve been wanting your town to turn into a walking nightmare, get this mod to turn autonomous biting on. Vampires will run amok and bite whenever they damn well please. Because that’s what they do, okay? They’re not nice.
Lifetime Skills

It’s pretty sucky that your sim child can work their butt off at some skills, reach the maximum, and have nothing to show for it once they age. Suddenly, they’re a moron? Not anymore! This mod makes it so that skills developed in early ages carry over for the rest of a sim’s life.
