Earlier today, Ancel posted a third teaser image on his account with the caption: “Endangered species – now saved – Game in pre-production – Stay tuned !” While we don’t have any other concrete details about the sequel or its story, it is heartening to know that the project has been greenlit.

Beyond Good & Evil was originally released back in 2003, and followed the story of Jade, a young woman who worked as an investigative journalist and a martial artist. The game involved players solving various puzzles while fighting enemies and picking up evidence for cases they were focusing on. We’ll keep you updated as more details on this sequel comes our way.
