Don’t Expect a Spider-Man PS4 Release Date Anytime Soon

Oh. Okay.

Spider-Man fans who were excited over the PS4 exclusive reveal at this year’s E3 are going to have to hold their horses on the hype train for a little bit. It looks like Insomniac Games won’t be releasing any new information about the game anytime soon.

In a tweet response to a fan, Insomniac stated that the game has no release date at the moment, and that it’s “not likely” that they’ll be announcing it soon either. So… basically we have no idea when the release window for this new Spider-Man game is, and we also have no idea when Insomniac or Sony will even be talking more about the game.

However, we do know that the shiny new trailer shown at E3 in June was made from in-game footage, so we can be sure that it’ll look damn good. That’s it. Well, at least we have that new Tom Holland movie to look forward to. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes our way. But for now, we’ll just have to sit tight and wait.
