Here’s Disney Infinity’s Version of Spider-Gwen, Cry at What Could’ve Been

WHY CAN'T WE HAVE NICE THINGS?!

Earlier this week, we learned that prior to its cancellation, Disney Infinity had several figures in production. One such figure included Spider-Gwen, an alternate universe version of Spider-Man character Gwen Stacy who didn’t die and instead got bitten by the radioactive spider. It sucks that we never got to see that come to fruition, and now, to really drive the knife in, here’s what she looked like. (Oh, and MCU Doctor Strange, but whatever. Shut up, this is Gwen’s time.)

Spider-Gwen first made her official appearance in comics during the 2014 Spider-Verse event. People took to her pretty well, and in February 2015, she got a comic of her own. Her solo comic is currently being written by Jason Aaron and drawn by Robbi Rodriguez. If you think that’s something you may be interested in (and just to be clear, it’s a really dang good comic), you can go ahead and grab the very first volume here.

Ugh, it sucks that this never came to fruition. Why can’t we have nice things?!
