This Hyper Light Drifter CE Comes With Sweet Retro Goodness

So much blue.

Hyper Light Drifter amassed quite a few enthusiastic fans when it first released on Steam, and it’ll be arriving on PS4 and Xbox One pretty soon. In conjunction with the console release, iam8bit is releasing a rather cool-looking Collector’s Edition of the game, and it comes with a colorful SNES cartridge.

Before you ask, no, the SNES cartridge won’t actually work with your Nintendo console. It just looks good. The Collector’s Edition will also come with an SNES style replica box, a 24-page game manual, and a world map poster. It’s going for $65 right now, and you can preorder it now to secure your copy for this summer.

The store’s FAQ has mentioned that they don’t have a set number of these CEs being produced, but they are sure that quantities for PS4 and Xbox One will be more limited than Steam.

Hyper Light Drifter is now available on PC via Steam, and the console release is expected some time this summer. Will you be picking one of these CEs up? Let us know in the comments down below.
