This past weekend, rumors were swirling about Gears of War 4 getting an Ultimate Edition. Sure enough, Microsoft confirmed that it exists, and it’s available both physically and digitally. Here’s what you can expect when you pick up your version:

  • A limited edition Steelbook
  • The Gears 4 season pass, which we’ve already detailed the contents of here
  • Four day early access to the game on Friday, October 7
  • Vintage Del Gear Pack, featuring said Vintage Del skin, emblem, two Vintage weapon skins, and special Vintage Del Bounty

The Vintage Del Pack isn’t exclusive to the Ultimate Edition, so if you pre-order the standard edition of the game, that’ll be included with it. Here’s the cover art for the Ultimate Edition.

The Ultimate Edition of Gears of War 4 will cost you $100. Pricey, but when you look at what all’s being offered, it’s definitely worth it, no? Especially when you’ve got a full weekend of access to the game before your friends. Better hurry up and pre-order!

Gears of War 4 comes to the Xbox One on October 11.
