Summer Games Done Quick 2016 Schedule and Lineup Announced

Gaming for charity is the best kind of gaming.

Summer Games Done Quick 2016’s schedule and lineup is finally here. The event’s official website has released the total lineup of speedrunners and games for their summer event. The event will consist of speedrunners marathoning through some of the most difficult titles out there, such as Demon Souls and Mega Man 3, while also taking on some games just for fun like Crystal’s Pony Tale and Barbie Game Girl.

Games Done Quick holds a series of gaming marathons twice a year, featuring some of the best speedrunners out there to raise money for worthy causes. At Games Done Quick 2016, $1,216,079.02 was raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Summer Games Done Quick 2016 will be taking place from Jul. 3 – Jul. 10 at the Hilton Minneapolis Downtown Hotel, in Minneapolis, MN. Over 150 games will be played this summer to raise money for Doctors Without Borders. To get involved with this event, you can sign up using the SGDQ 2016 Sign Up Form. But hurry, signups close on Jun. 1.
