XCOM 2, the hotly anticipated sequel to 2012’s hit turn-based strategy game XCOM: Enemy Unknown, has been on sale for less than one week, and it has already sold over 500,000 units.
These are certainly impressive figures for a game that has been out for less than a week. It’s also impressive given the somewhat niche genre of the game. XCOM 2 was released exclusively for the PC on Feb. 5.
