The Walking Dead: Michonne Delayed to 2016

The wait continues for more Walking Dead.
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Previously Telltale Games was aiming to launch the first episode of their three-part mini-series The Walking Dead: Michonne before the end of 2015, but during The Game Awards the developers showed off their first teaser trailer for Michonne which revealed a brief delay. Instead of kicking off in December 2015, episode one of Michonne will now launch in February 2016. February should be a good month for Walking Dead fans, as the second half of season 6 of the television show will also begin airing then.

The teaser, which you can check out below, shows the titular katana-wielder out on her own, and will tie in directly to Robert Kirkman’s comic series between issues 126 and 139. It was brief, clocking in at less than a minute, but we will undoubtedly hear more about it in the coming months.

The Walking Dead: Michonne will be launching on PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, compatible iOS devices, and Android.

Earlier in the show Telltale Games also revealed that they are working on a brand new episodic series for the one and only Dark Knight, Batman.
