Her Story Steals Best Narrative at The Game Awards

The sleeper hit wins big.

Her Story, a sleeper hit on Steam that made waves when it first released, bagged the Best Narrative award at this year’s Game Awards show. It’s an impressive feat, really, considering that it came up against some really strong contenders including Life Is Strange and Tales from the Borderlands.

Her Story is an interactive video game directed by Sam Barlow. The game has the player use a series of police video clips to solve the mystery surrounding the case of a missing man.

What did you think of the Best Narrative award? Do you think it should have gone to another game?
