The Zelda CDi Cutscenes Have Been Reanimated Thanks to Fan Efforts, and They’re Glorious

The Legend of Zelda series has always been wonderfully magical and charming, with a gorgeous art and visual style to accompany its beautiful music. And then we have the Zelda CDi games, with slightly awkward animations and cutscenes that, uh, don’t quite hold up in the 21st century any longer.

Even so, it’s always a blast to take a look back at what the CDi games brought to the table. With that in mind, over 200 animators and artists hae come together to recreate all of the legendary cutscenes from the Zelda CDi games, and the results are glorious. You can check them out for yourself down below:

The series will likely never see another entry like the CDi games again, but at least we’ll always have this for posterity.
